Goddamn Dad is about Niklas and Leif, a son and father, who both feel like shit. They have no one to turn to and they are also unable to talk about their problems. Instead, they do what men always do when they are lost, they try to build something. A camper van.

The son wants to talk to his dad about everything that is hard. But all goes to hell, both with the building and with their relationship. They fight and drink, try to escape from each other and everything around them.

But somewhere under the surface the love is still there, and at the end, when shit really hits the fan, maybe the building of the van is the first step towards a way out of their broken relationship.
